Location & Driving Guide
🚗 From Kolkata (approx 175 km)
Take the Vidyasagar Setu → Kona Expressway → NH16 towards Kolaghat. Cross the Rupnarayan river bridge, continue towards Nandakumar turn onto NH116B / Contai (Kanthi) bypass. Turn left at Chawlkhola gate towards Mandarmani Beach Road to reach Dadanpatrabarh. Total driving time: ~3.5 to 4 hours.
🌊 From Tajpur Beach (approx 18 km · ~25 mins)
Drive north-east from Tajpur via Alampur / Contai road to merge into Mandarmani Beach Road. Smooth and scenic route through casuarina countryside directly to Samriddha Beach Resort.
🏖️ From Digha & New Digha (approx 28 km · ~40 mins)
Follow NH116B towards Chawlkhola. Turn right at the Mandarmani entrance gate and proceed straight down the beach road to Dadanpatrabarh. Cabs and toto rides are readily available.
🚆 By Train
Nearest railway stations are Kanthi (Contai) Station (approx 18 km) and Digha Station (approx 28 km). Frequent local cabs and auto-rickshaws (Toto) are readily available from either station directly to Samriddha Beach Resort.
